It’s the year 2011 and Hogwarts has opened its doors once more for a brand new year of friends, fun, and magical learning. Here, students learn the necessary skills to craft and hone their magic so that they can some day become a great witch or wizard. Once they graduate, they can go off into the world, get jobs, and live their life.
(Please note that this is an AU RPG and therefore all of the canon things don't really exist here)
However, before you can begin your journey to this life, there are a few things that you need to understand.
-All players must start as 11 year old students- First Years (special exceptions may be made by Wizard God, however you must have permission from Wizard God in advance before creating an adult). Students move up a year based on how many posts he or she makes. Once a month, students will be evaluated for graduation. If they reach the required amount of posts, they will move up. If not, they will stay at the year they were at. Students may only move up one year per month, no matter how many posts they make.
-Classes are available for attendance but are not required. In classes, you can earn Galleons instead of House Points, which can be used to purchase supplies and other goods in Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.
-As a student, you may post only at “student designated” spots. This means Hogwarts (all students) and Hogsmeade (3rd year and up only).
-As an adult, you may post anywhere you like except for Hogwarts. You can make up whatever storyline you like, and play it out to your heart’s content. Make friends, make enemies, and live your life.
-As of right now, there is no overarching storyline for the entire site but there may be in the future.
