Observation Corridor Empty
PostSubject: Observation Corridor   Observation Corridor EmptyTue Mar 08, 2011 6:59 pm

Jude watched the idle Ravenclaws wander by down the corridor, lazily meandering around serpentine collums. They looked like the nerds that never ever made it out of there. They looked like they were trying to be braver and cooler and more popular than they were and ever were going to be.

Stupid.

Just going to the Forbidden Corridor because of the word Forbidden in the title. If that was showing dare and bravery these days then originality was out. Jude hated that idea. Stupid.

Was the world just full of try hard Gryffindors now? In his eyes, they were even worse than the Hufflepuffs, and that was saying somehting.
Yep.

Jude slid off the smooth stone that'd been his home for at least five minutes now. If that was all he was he could get from watching people, then he was going to give up. This wasn't going to get him anywhere.

Luke shook his head as he saw a couple of other students trying to creep down the corridor, what did they think they were doing. Luke didn’t understand why the forbidden corridor was so forbidden; he had sat in its quiet halls several times just to get away from people and hadn’t seen anything out of the ordinary.

He had found a spot by the side of a suit of armour where he could sit and go unnoticed, he would sometimes see other students sneak in speaking with hushed whispers as they plucked up their ‘courage’ to go ‘exploring’.

“Pathetic,” he muttered to himself and leant his head back against the wall, “What do they think they are going to find? A three headed dog?” Luke thought that the corridor was probably only forbidden because of structural faults or something. Nothing exciting or endangering.

He was rather bored and so pulled out a rubber ball from his pocket; it was in the shape similar to a quaffle but much smaller in size and started bouncing it off the column opposite him. He threw it a bit of course though and it went bouncing off along the corridor. He rolled his eyes and growled in frustration before standing up to go and fetch the runaway ball.

A small ball wanders down the corridor at a comical pace. Almost as comically, a boy wanders down to watch it. Jude has a familiar eye for haircuts and faces (obviously) so spots him right away: he's a slytherin, a new year, and he was in front of him at the Sorting Ceremony. Spot on. Good company already, without stereotyping the slytherins. He seemed a decent enough chap anyway, from when he heard him speaking.

"Do your nut in, don't they? Them lot," he motioned with his head down to the Ravenclaws who were getting quieter with every other second as he stopped the ball with his heel. Jude brushes his sleeves down and folds them over his chest as he kicks the back in the boy's direction.

Luke knelt down and grabbed the ball back as a rather familiar face kicked the ball to him, he had seen him in the common room a couple of times so it was safe to say that he was a Slytherin. Although he hadn’t been in the group of people that had been sorted, so he must have been an older student.

“Just a bit,” he rolled his eyes and tossed the ball from one hand to the other, “Think they are all so amazing, brave and clever, sneaking down here. To be honest I don’t think there is anything special at all about down here, it’s quiet that’s all I care about.”

He watched the backs of the Ravenclaws get further and further away, suddenly one let out a scream and Luke couldn’t help but smirk.

“Probably scared by their own shadow,” he mocked and bounced the ball on the floor, “So what were you doing down here?”
