Biting his lip, the boy stood uncertainly outside the the bank, at the bottom of the stairs. Staring up at the huge lopsided white bank, he nervously wiped his hands on his jeans. Taking a deep breath he steeled himself and walked up the stone steps. His heart beat against his chest and he could swear it got louder the closer he got to the doors. Reaching out, he pulled open the first set of doors, swallowing the lump that was in his throat.

For the first time in his life, Raven wished that his mother was with him to help him through this. Unfortunately she was a complete mess at the moment and would more than likely be more unhelpful than usual when it came to dealing with father. Not to mention the woman hated all things magical and to have her come with him to Diagon Alley and the bank would be like pouring salt onto the wound. The twelve year old did not wish his mother that pain. So, he was to do this on his own. Technically he was the 'man' of the household now anyway. So he should be able to do this right?

Nodding politely to the two sets of goblins that let him through the next two sets of doors, Raven joined the queue to wait for an available teller. Of course, he wouldn't be just taking out money but also some other things as well that would take a bit of time. Checking just to make sure that he had the file folder secure in his hands, he took a few more steadying breaths. Looking up and seeing that he was next, he tried to keep calm and walked up to the goblin. Clearing his throat, the boy winced at how loud it sounded even with the usual background noise of the bank.

"Er..I need to create a new vault as well as transfer some funds from the main Bellamy vault to the new vault please."

The goblin looked over the counter at him and the boy tried to remember that the goblin probably wasn't trying to appear threatening that that was just how they looked...probably. Just to show that he had everything in order, Raven lifted the file folder trying to keep the nervousness out of his voice stated, "I have the required paperwork here."

It was the paperwork his father had filled out and signed stating that Raven was to have stipend go to the new account every month. A sort of "Child Support" for his schooling. He would receive it until he turned of age. It was to cover any and all costs while he attended Hogwarts. His trust fund would be transferred to the new account as well under the condition that he wouldn't be able to touch said funds until he turned of age. It also claimed that Raven had agreed and signed under his own free will and under no duress to his disinheritance and would not try and reclaim his father's name or anything pertaining to his paternal side of the family's holdings.

Actually, all things considered that in itself was very generous of his father if you looked at it. Disinheritance in a Pureblood family was much like an aristocratic one in the Muggle world. You were cut off completely and basically you no longer existed. At least his father was still willing to make sure that he would be able to complete Hogwarts. After that it was up to Raven himself to make or break it on his own.

The goblin took the folder wordlessly and Raven watched the black eyes go back and forth as they scanned the documents. "Everything seems to be in order here. Very unorthodox, but in order. You do not have the vault key for the Bellamy account am I correct?"

Nodding, the boy tried to subtilely wipe his hands on his jeans again, thankful that he had left Gil home. The dog would most likely be causing a scene. "Yes, sir. The key is with my father as it's his vault..."

Nodding the goblin called over another goblin and spoke in their language while the boy watched nervously as well as a little confused. The second goblin nodded and took the papers and disappeared. The first goblin spoke again and Raven made sure he was paying attention so he could relay any information to his mother if he needed.

"Bkomar will see to the details. We will transfer the necessary funds into a new vault. There was a stipulation in the contract stating that you were the only one allowed to access the vault. Here is your new key."

Brown eyes going wide, Raven took the key and put in his pocket wordlessly. He knew about the clause in the drawn up contract too. His father went over it with him this summer so much to make sure that it sank in and he knew about it that his head hurt!

"Thank you." Since he didn't need to wait around while the funds were being transferred, Raven only had to listen to the goblin explain how he could access his fault and what to do if he lost his key. Making sure he would remember, the boy thanked him again and left the bank to do his shopping glad to have this behind him. Once he cleared the doors and all but practically ran down the stone steps, he found that he could breathe easier.
