Since when are trophies so big?!

Marcus stared in awe at the large trophy that dominated at least half of the wall. He hadn't yet found the time to check the name, date, or even the reason it was given. He was too busy staring at it. The sheer size was enough to attract his infinitesmal attention span, and on top of that it was highly polished. This meant it was shiny, and he absolutely could NOT look away from anything shiny, glittery, or sparkly. It just wasn't in his nature.

So absorbed was he in staring that he didn't hear the footsteps until the person had reached right next to him, and he jumped. "Ack!" He almost toppled one of the smaller statues, but successfully righted it in time. "Erm..." he stared it his feet sheepishly. "Hello?"

Zuko blinked, stepping slightly away from the English boy, the English vocabulary he had installed in his mind not processing the first two words. "Ni hao?" he tried hesitantly, frowning slightly as he greeted the Hufflepuff in Chinese, eye being caught by the multiple shiny things.

"Oooh, shiny."
